Bradley and I headed out at about 2 AM to take advantage of our day off school and captured a little cinematic short film in the process of chasing a sunrise.
WWe arrived on location at about 2:40 AM and began the almost 2-hour hike to the top of Angels Rest located in Oregon's George. It was an extremely clear night and we had others in company hiking up to see the sunrise same as us, and the gear we had was quite heavy, we took up a tripod and the A6300 along with a RØDE NTG4+ and a few other things for the rig. When we got to the top at about 4:00 we found a perfect ledge off some rock about 5 feet below where everyone else was and we ended up being there until about 5:00 AM before we decided to head back down. We did get to see the sunrise, though as we had been hiking up the lighted started to show, so by the time we had gotten to the top there were no long exposure star pictures that we could have taken, unfortunately.
